Overview

I have a great opportunity for a No.1 Site Manager to join a privately owned family building contractor on a permanent basis, working on education projects near Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire.

The company turnover circa £30m and work throughout East Anglia and Outer London, operating as a principal contractor. They are a highly respected, multi-disciplined main contractor that carry out both major works as well as smaller projects.

They undertake new build, refurbishment, alteration, conversion and maintenance projects across the business, including schools, hospitals, residential, factories, offices and listed buildings. Project values range from £500k up to £5m.

They are looking for a No.1 Site Manager to work on projects in the education sector, inclusive of new build and refurbishment works. They have £20m worth of work in the area and they are looking for a No.1 Site Manager with a strong track record working on education projects. The initial project comprises 4 x new blocks as well as some refurbishment works.

Experience and Qualifications

• Track record working for a reputable main contractor as a No.1 Site Manager
• Experience working on new build and refurbishment projects
• Education project experience is essential
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
• Able to work near Bishops Stortford on a daily basis

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + package
