Royal Mail International Operations based at HWDC (Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre), the UK's largest and most advanced automated hub. This hub processes worldwide imports and exports, adhering to stringent customs and aviation security standards, and connects customers with over 195 countries globally. Spanning 45,000 square metres, HWDC has the capability to manage around 1 million import/export items daily.
To support the operation, we have a vacancy for a Night Shift Manager who is responsible for +20 managers and c400 frontline staff, helping us to continue to improve and deliver the best service.
On every shift, employees and engineers will look to you to lead the way. You'll motivate them to achieve their best every day and also work with them over time to help them develop and reach their potential. It'll be up to you to help the team to meet a range of operational targets, each one critical to improving our offering to customers, saving them money on a fast, high quality service.
22:30 – 07:00 Monday to Friday, but flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the unit.
