We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Network Engineer with some Automation experience (Python) to join our highly skilled Infrastructure team to deliver exceptional 3rd Line Support to the global infrastructure network and deliver various network projects within tight timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd Line Network Support for the global infrastructure network.
• Lead or contribute to the technical delivery of network projects including design, configuration, installation of office moves and expansion, replacement of existing vendors, and management of data centre networks.
• Write and execute Python scripts for network automation and remediation.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco FTD, Cisco FMC, Cisco Switches, Nexus 5k/9k switches, and Meraki MX/MS/MR and SD-WAN.
• Administer Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco ISR routers and Cisco DNA Center.
• CUCM / Cisco Voice experience and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine) expertise.
• Ensure proper configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco AnyConnect remote access VPN.
• Maintain knowledge through workshops and documentation; create and maintain site and technical documentation.
• Proactively monitor IT systems and implement preventative measures to reduce downtime.
• Prepare post-incident review documents and recommend improvement actions.
• Test business applications, network and server performance; provide statistics and reports; develop strategies to maintain and improve core infrastructure.
• Adhere to IT security policies and assist in enforcing and monitoring these policies.
• Identify potential vulnerabilities and propose resolutions.
• Evaluate, design, and maintain infrastructure systems including LANs/WANs/Internet/Intranet, security, and change management.
• Understand business requirements and suggest appropriate technologies to support goals.
• On-call rota and regular weekend network maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least CCNP-level certification or above.
• Strong experience as a Level 3 Network Engineer.
• Vendor experience with Cisco and Meraki products.
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco FTD, FMC, switches (Nexus 5k/9k), and Meraki MX/MS/MR/SD-WAN.
• Administration experience with Cisco Catalyst Switches, Cisco ISR routers, and Cisco DNA Center.
• Experience with CUCM / Cisco Voice and Cisco ISE.
• Good understanding of Azure cloud-based networks.
• Experience with network automation using Python.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes.
• Linux experience is a plus.
