A civil engineering firm is looking for an experienced Contractor-Side Project Manager to support a large-scale infrastructure scheme in Leeds. The role focuses on governance and risk management under NEC4 contracts, ensuring effective coordination among multiple contractors. Essential qualifications include proven NEC4 project management experience and a strong grasp of programme logic. Join a challenging environment with opportunities for strategic input and early completion incentives.
We are recruiting for an experienced Contractor-Side NEC4 Project Manager to support the delivery of a major, long-term civil engineering and infrastructure scheme in Leeds.
The project, which focusses on the remediation of a wetland is a large, complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure programme involving significant earthworks, drainage, structural concrete and environmental works, delivered under NEC4.
The works extend into autumn and winter delivery periods, making programme certainty, sequencing and interface management critical to success.
The scheme has a target completion date of September 2027, with an early completion incentive in place. As such, this role is heavily programme-led and coordination-focused, rather than traditional site management.
This position acts as the Contractor-Side Project Manager under NEC4, with a strong focus on governance, control and assurance within a live contract environment.
You will work closely with planning and commercial teams to manage programme risk, contractual obligations, and complex interfaces across multiple contractors and disciplines.
This is not a Site Manager role; it is a senior project control and coordination role within a structured NEC4 delivery environment.
