Overview

A lovely family in Kentish Town, London, is looking for an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. They seek a reliable and engaging candidate to undertake all standard childcare duties, with additional responsibilities such as cooking and preparing healthy meals for the children. A valid first aid qualification is essential. The ability to speak French or German would be a bonus, though strong English-speaking candidates will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks suited to their needs
• Keep bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well organised
• Engage the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as park visits
• Encourage early literacy and a love for reading through storytime and age-appropriate books
• Establish and maintain consistent daily routines to provide structure and stability
• Prepare and cook healthy, balanced meals and snacks for the children

Qualifications

• Valid first aid qualification (essential)
• Language: French or German is a bonus; strong English-speaking candidates will also be considered

• Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 10 hours per week
