Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Technician on a permanent basis, working day shift.

  • Responsible for ensuring safe working practices are followed at all times.
  • Completion of effective planned preventive maintenance of equipment, tools and facilities, with an emphasis on breakdown prevention through the continual development of PPM procedures.
  • Diagnose faults and complete reactive repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
  • Assist with installation, commissioning, and modification of equipment.
  • Liaise with production, engineering, and external contractors to resolve issues quickly.
  • Identify and order spare parts, ensuring stock is maintained at required levels.
  • Root cause analysis of breakdowns and implementation of effective reoccurrence prevention plans using tools such as Major Breakdown Reports.
  • Work as part of a maintenance team and demonstrate good communication skills in interfacing with other departments, suppliers, contractors and manufacturers as required.
  • Operating access platforms including scissor lifts and cherry pickers.
  • Use of PC for accessing information, emails and completing reports.
  • Assisting with the training and mentoring of apprentices.
About You
  • We are looking for someone who has strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, has experience within a high volume–manufacturing environment, is competent in safe systems of work (LOTO, permits, isolation procedures) and has the ability to interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • You should also be computer literate and ideally have experience at using CMM's.
  • If you have good organisational skills, are self‑motivated and have a hands‑on approach to problem solving with the ability to work alone as well as part of a team we would love to hear from you!

  • This position will be on a full time, permanent basis working dayshift.
