A leading logistics firm is looking for a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver & Warehouse Assistant for a 6-month contract in High Wycombe. You will be responsible for safely transporting goods, conducting vehicle checks, and assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have proven driving experience, a full clean driving license, and the ability to work well in a team. The position offers a competitive salary of £32k pro rata, bonuses, and 23 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.

Overview

This role plays a key part in ensuring the efficient movement of goods across the business. The Company Driver & General Warehouse Assistant is responsible for transporting items safely and punctually, supporting day-to-day warehouse operations, and maintaining a clean, organised working environment.

The position involves loading and unloading goods, managing inventory processes, and ensuring that all transport activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport goods-and staff when required-to designated locations.
  • Carry out basic vehicle checks and maintenance; ensure vehicles remain clean and roadworthy.
  • Maintain accurate travel logs, recording hours, routes, and delivery details.
  • Follow all road laws, driving regulations, and company procedures at all times.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure efficient scheduling of deliveries and collections.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles; verify delivery accuracy and maintain supporting records.
  • Accurately record incoming goods and update inventory systems.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Check goods for quality and report any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements to support a safe working environment.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, tidy, and well‑organised to support efficient operations.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a professional driver; previous logistics or warehouse experience is advantageous.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Confident using maps and GPS systems.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a warehouse environment.
