A healthcare provider in York seeks a registered nurse with proficiency in microsuction to join their team on a Bank basis. We are looking for nurses proficient in microsuction to join the Nimbuscare team on a Bank basis under the direction of our lead nurse for microsuction.
You would be responsible for assessing for and performing microsuction to an unspecified cohort of patients who self-refer for treatment.
The expectation is that you would perform at least one clinic a month.
Interviews for this role will be held in person in York.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care
To work independently to provide ear wax removal using Micro Suction to patients with reference to agreed protocols and guidelines
Managing a daily schedule of adults with hearing loss due to wax management issues
Take responsibility of clinic and follow regulatory guidelines e.g. NICE
Ensure the consulting room is set up at the beginning of each clinic
To be responsible for maintaining own CPD records in a form acceptable to your professional registered body
To maintain accurate records of all consultations and treatments in the patients notes, both written and computerised
To project a positive, friendly, professional image to patients in line with Nimbuscare values
Following best practice principles with regards to infection control in the workplace
Ensure the maintenance of equipment and stock levels in relation to patient care
