Job summary

A specialist vehicle repair company in Wirral is seeking a skilled MET Technician. You'll diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults from accidents, ensuring vehicles are safe and roadworthy. Ideal candidates have vehicle repair qualifications or relevant experience. The position offers a permanent contract with a standard workweek from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established vehicle bodyshop and repair specialist in their search for a MET Technician to work in Wirral.

Job Role: As an MET Technician, you will be diagnosing and fixing mechanical and electrical faults caused by traffic accidents. The role includes stripping and rebuilding crash-damaged mechanical parts and body panels such as clutches, suspension and brakes. You will be replacing damaged components including headlights, brakes and airbags, and ensuring vehicles are returned to a safe and roadworthy condition.

• Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday (42.5-hour week)
• Duration: Permanent
• Overtime: Paid at x1.5 after 42.5 hours
