A leading NHS healthcare provider is seeking an experienced Maternity Support Worker to assist community midwives at Wythenshawe Hospital. The role involves performing blood tests, supporting midwives, and fostering family education in a supportive, diverse environment. Successful candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills and a commitment to quality care, with shifts covering all days and public holidays.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated experienced Maternity Support Worker to support the community midwives based at Wythenshawe Hospital. The post involves assisting the midwives caring for women and birthing people during the antenatal and postnatal period with supervision from the midwives. You will be required to support parents to care for and feed their babies, also undertaking parent education.
