Marketing Executive – Events & Delivery Support
- Contract – Inside IR35 via umbrella
- Initial 6–9 months, with potential extension
- Remote with a couple of days a month in the London office
B2B Marketing Executive Role Purpose
This role supports the marketing team in the delivery of B2B marketing activity, with a primary focus on events, hospitality and logistics, alongside general content and campaign support.
The postholder will play a key role in ensuring industry conferences, customer roundtables, hospitality and marketing activities are delivered smoothly, professionally and on time. They will also support wider marketing activity as required, working flexibly across the team to help deliver agreed plans.
This is a hands-on delivery role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, action-oriented and comfortable supporting multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities
Events & Hospitality Delivery (Primary Focus)
- Coordinate and deliver marketing events, including:
- Industry conferences and trade events
- Exhibition stands and merchandise
- Customer and client roundtables
- Hospitality events
- Manage event logistics such as:
- Venue liaison and bookings
- AV requirements
- Catering and menus
- Invitations and attendee management
- On-the-day support
- Coordinate production and delivery of event materials, including stands, signage and merchandise.
- Support post-event follow-up and reporting.
Marketing & Content Support
- Support the creation and delivery of marketing content, including:
- Website updates
- Social media posts
- Event and campaign communications
- Webinar support materials
- Adapt messaging and copy for different audiences and channels as required.
- Ensure content is delivered in line with brand, tone of voice and compliance requirements.
Team & Campaign Support
- Provide day-to-day support to marketing colleagues across the team.
- Assist with campaign delivery tasks as required to meet timelines and targets.
- Flex across priorities to support peak activity periods.
Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather inputs and confirm requirements.
- Liaise with external suppliers, venues and agencies to support delivery.
- Track actions, deadlines and dependencies.
Required Experience & Skills
Essential
- Experience supporting or delivering events and event logistics
- Experience creating basic marketing content for web, social or events
- Strong organisational and project coordination skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable working with a range of internal and external stakeholders
Desirable
- Experience supporting B2B marketing activity
- Experience working with agencies or event suppliers
- Familiarity with webinars or virtual events
- Experience updating websites or using CMS tools
