About Our Client

Our client is a leading aerospace engineering company specializing in jet engines, avionics, and integrated systems for both military and commercial aircraft. They operate major UK facilities, including maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • NPI Support: Develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products, ensuring scalability and manufacturability.
  • Process Optimization: Improve efficiency, quality, and cost‑effectiveness; resolve production issues through root cause analysis.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and support quality control plans for new products.
  • Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting, train operators, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality.
  • Production Support: Assist in creation of rework instructions and process validation (FAIs) for manufactured products.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field, or suitable experience in manufacturing engineering with an NPI focus.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Aerospace/automotive experience, ISO 9001/AS9100 knowledge, ERP systems familiarity.
