Overview

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support the CFO in driving efficiencies and transforming the finance function to support ambitious growth plans. This is a pivotal role that offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy and processes across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements
  • Perform month-end processes ensuring all adjustments and reconciliations are completed on time
  • Support financial planning cycles and scenario planning with key stakeholders
  • Work with teams on inventory control and management
  • Manage invoice finance facilities
  • Review financial processes and systems to ensure cost-efficiency and continuous improvement
  • Handle all HMRC, VAT, and tax submissions
The Ideal Candidate
  • Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE with relevant experience
  • Proactive problem solver with resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter with strong communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with advanced Excel skills
  • Experienced with finance systems; Sage experience desirable but not essential
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Previous experience in wholesale or e-commerce is highly desirable
