Maintenance Engineer (mechanical bias)

Salary: £42,000

Shifts: Earlies (6am-2pm) / Lates (2pm-10pm), rotating

Overview

This is a multi-skilled mechanically biased maintenance role based at a full-scale manufacturing. The facility includes on-site laboratory testing and production lines manufacturing over 30 products, with key customers across the UK, Europe, and Asia.

Role Summary for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
  • The position involves a balance of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. You\'ll also support specialist contractors carrying out both routine and emergency tasks.
  • PPM Work: 65%
  • Reactive Maintenance: 35%
  • Frequent Issues: Sensor-related faults
  • Support: Liaising with contractors on site when needed
Machinery the Maintenance Engineer will be working on
  • Spray dryers, evaporators, welding bays, labeling machines, silos, refrigerators, mills, and blenders.
