A leading manufacturing company in Sudbury is seeking an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to ensure production machinery reliability and safety. The ideal candidate will perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on equipment, while promoting continuous improvement within the engineering team. The position is full-time with competitive salary and standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

Qualifications

  • Electrically biased engineer with strong technical knowledge.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment is beneficial.
  • Confident in electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and general maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a wide range of production equipment.
  • Support in planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with other engineers to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance.

Maintenance Engineer Electrically Biased
Location: Sudbury
Salary: £47,500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

Im currently partnering with a leading manufacturing company based in the Sudbury area, who are entering an exciting phase of development with several new projects underway. As a result of this continued investment and growth, they are looking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer (Electrically Biased) to join their established engineering team.

The Role

As an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of the sites production machinery. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive business that values continuous improvement, innovation, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a wide range of production equipment
  • Support in planned, reactive, and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Work closely with other engineers to minimise downtime and improve equipment performance
  • Assist with ongoing engineering projects, upgrades, and process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with site health & safety and engineering standards
Requirements
