Job description

Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join one of the country\'s leading Facilities Management companies, working in Plymouth and surrounding areas.

The role requires a strong electrical background and qualifications such as NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations or maintenance, and 18th edition as a minimum. The position involves working as part of a team at a number of retail sites in the region, carrying out a range of building maintenance duties and performing planned and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.

Responsibilities

• Support other technicians with major or minor maintenance work as required.
• Complete all necessary preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance schedules within agreed timescales and ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Prioritise and complete minor maintenance and repair work to agreed timescales.
• Ensure all tools and equipment needed for minor maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable.
• Be prepared to work at other sites within the cluster as needed for PPMs and maintenance tasks.
• Work with company and client colleagues to maintain laid-down standards of quality.
• Represent the company professionally and develop good working relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Carry out all tasks in accordance with specific KPIs.
• Monitor and update the Mercury system accurately, providing live job updates from you and your team at all times.

Qualifications

• NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in electrical installations / maintenance, or recognized apprenticeship equivalent.
• 18th Edition.

• Basic salary - £40,593.78 (including standby)
• Callout - 1 in 4
