All about the role

As Logistics EHS & Quality Manager you are responsible for Logistics Health & Safety and Quality management within the Electrolux UK (including both finished good and spares) In this important position you ensure that all processes are followed.

As Logistics EHS & Quality Manager you facilitate the engagement of our people in a customer service culture, in which we take ownership for providing customer satisfaction in a safe and quality driven environment.

You support the application of the Electrolux EMS Lean Management Tools, techniques and process improvements within Logistics Operations. Furthermore, you lead EHS and Quality awareness at all levels of the logistics organization and maintain a structured Safety Management System.

In the role you assure service quality, and you drive a Zero-Defect Quality Standard (non-tolerance to defects and strive to eliminate variance and minimize non-value adding activities) within our processes by complying with customer requirements, process specifications and our Quality Standards.

The position will be placed at our warehouse in Milton Keynes. Occasionally you will travel to our warehouse in Bowburn.

What you’ll do
  • Tracking and reporting all relevant EHS and Quality KPI’s and conduct warehouse and operations compliance audit, internal and external.
  • Develop processes and procedures in collaboration with other operational managers to ensure the safety and quality of all the activities in logistics.
  • Seek technological/digital opportunities for improvements to EHS and Quality processes while ensuring appropriate safety and quality training.
  • Proactive participation in EHS and Quality Community activities - Cascade and follow-up of EHS and Quality updates.
  • Align central EHS and Quality teams/functional managers with local team/line manager
  • Ensure the full and appropriate investigation and follow-up of all logistics incidents, within legal and Company defined time frame and reporting requirements
  • Ensure UK Logistics Organization compliance with EHS Country legal requirements and Electrolux policies
  • Ensure all aspects of EHS risk assessments are carried out by relevant team members and are following HSE regulations.
Who you are
  • Several years’ experience from Health & Safety/Quality work from warehousing, manufacturing or similar.
  • Knowledge of health & safety & environment local laws and regulations and knowledge of warehouse processes.
  • Great interpersonal skills on all levels, able to communicate well with different stakeholder with an ambitious hard working can-do attitude.
  • Basic financial understanding and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Project management and lean methodology experience.
  • Experience in application of behaviour-based safety approach.
