We are currently seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology to join our client’s team in Falkirk, Scotland. This is a full‑time, ongoing position working core hours only, offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well‑established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform full blood counts, coagulation studies, and blood film morphology.
  • Ensure accurate analysis, maintain quality control, and collaborate with clinical teams.
Qualifications and Experience
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent
  • Experience in Haematology within a clinical laboratory
  • Experience with Sysmex XN and Stago and blood film morphology
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • NHS experience (preferred)
