Job summary

A leading fitness organization in East Kilbride is seeking a Lifeguard to maintain safety in wet side facilities. You will ensure members are safe in the swimming pool, spa, sauna, and steam room. Ideal candidates will hold the NPLQ qualification and display a positive attitude towards customer care and teamwork. £12.33 per hour, dependent on experience

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you’ll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you’re able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
