Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in the UK seeks a committed Principal Psychologist to work in an exceptional mental health hospital in Warrington. In this permanent full-time role, you will lead the Psychology team and make evaluations about treatment options for women with complex mental health conditions. The successful candidate will earn an excellent salary of £65,000 per annum, and enjoy generous benefits including 25 days of leave, career development, wellbeing support, and pension contributions.

Qualifications

  • Must be a qualified Psychologist registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience in mental health and with complex presentations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Make skilled evaluations and decisions about treatment options.
  • Lead the Psychology team at the service.
  • Ensure systems are in place to manage new referrals/admissions.
  • Support and supervise departmental members in the assessment and case management.
  • Develop effective systems for the Psychology service in line with standards.

Skills

Experience of working as a principal psychologist
Experience of working in mental health and complex presentations
Ability to show a can-do attitude

Education

Qualified as a Psychologist registered with the HCPC
