Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in development control with a strong track record of handling residential projects.
  • Natural leader who can inspire and manage a small team while also working autonomously.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage client relationships and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute to the consultancy's growth.
  • Willingness to work onsite at least two days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee a variety of development control-focused projects, especially in the residential sector.
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients to ensure their goals are met.
  • Manage all aspects of development control, including applications and appeals.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to a small team of planners.
  • Contribute to business development by nurturing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
