An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Junior Sous Chef to join the brigade of a beautiful luxury country house hotel. With a 3 Rosette, 50-cover restaurant and banqueting for up to 100 guests, this is the perfect role if you love refined, seasonal cooking and service that runs like clockwork.

You will be wondering what is in it for you as a Junior Sous Chef…
  • £38,000 per annum plus £3,500 service charge
  • Live-in accommodation available for approximately £325 per month within walking distance of the hotel
  • 48-hour contract
  • Join a close-knit team of 9 chefs in a supportive, professional kitchen
  • Work under a highly experienced Executive Chef who is keen to train and develop you
  • Exposure to both fine dining restaurant service and high-quality banqueting
Responsibilities as a Junior Sous Chef…
  • Supporting the Executive and Sous Chefs with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
  • Taking ownership of a section and leading it confidently during busy services
  • Assisting with menu development, bringing fresh ideas and a creative approach
  • Ensuring consistently high standards across the 50-cover restaurant and events up to 100 guests
  • Coaching and supporting more junior members of the brigade
