Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic services to the Trust, including examining and clerking patient records.
• Deliver inpatient care, complete discharge summaries and request investigation forms.
• Participate in the ITU round, ensuring relevant treatments and investigations are communicated and carried out.
• Assist Consultants and Senior Specialist Registrars in the operating theatre.
• Support on-call duties from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm on weekdays and weekends.
• Enter all cardiac surgical patient data into the PATS system accurately and in a timely fashion.

Ensure all patients on the ward are seen regularly, deciding on day-to-day clinical management.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiothoracic services to the Trust, including examining and clerking patient records.
• Deliver inpatient care, complete discharge summaries and request investigation forms.
• Participate in the ITU round, ensuring relevant treatments and investigations are communicated and carried out.
• Assist Consultants and Senior Specialist Registrars in the operating theatre.
• Support on-call duties (1:3 daytime only) from 7.30 am to 7.30 pm on weekdays and weekends; no night on-calls.
• Undertake flexible activities as part of general duties and supporting professional activities.
• Enter all cardiac surgical patient data into the PATS system accurately and in a timely fashion.
