About the Role

Ready to start your Joules Journey? You will have opportunities to work with our Founder, Tom Joule, and his Senior Team who share knowledge across the business. Step into the role of Joules Junior Video Editor and join our creative team at Joules Head Office. We are seeking a talented and versatile Video Editor proficient in Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve and the Adobe Creative Suite to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for storytelling and aesthetics, technical post-production expertise, and some hands-on camera experience. You will collaborate with our production team to create video content that aligns with our brand and vision, generate creative content ideas, coordinate behind the scenes, and ensure lighting and post-production quality are on point.

On a day to day basis you can expect to:

  • Edit, colour grade, and finalise video projects using Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and deliver engaging content.
  • Manage and organise raw footage, assets, and project files efficiently.
  • Enhance video quality through colour correction, sound editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
  • Operate cameras for shoots when necessary, ensuring proper framing, focus, and lighting.
  • Maintain project deadlines and deliver high-quality edits on schedule.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and software updates to continuously improve editing techniques.

From a technical and operational perspective, it would also be advantageous if you have:

  • Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio showcasing proficiency in Final Cut Pro X, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop).
  • Basic to intermediate experience operating cameras, understanding of composition, lighting, and technical settings.
  • Strong visual and storytelling skills with a sharp eye for aesthetics, lighting, and fashion trends.
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, trend-driven environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of audio editing and mixing.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and animation.
  • Experience with setting up and running shoots, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Relevant qualifications and/or equivalent experience in Film, Media Production or related field.
  • Experience in social media video formats and optimisation.
Where will you be working

This is a full-time, onsite role based at “The Barn” - Joules’ purpose-built Head Office in Market Harborough, Leicestershire. This role is office-based and typically requires 5 days a week onsite. We offer discretionary flexibility to support your needs as work allows.
