Overview

This is a permanent full-time, Northern Ireland based role. Your new opportunity:

Operating within a fast-paced environment this role is responsible for delivering response maintenance repairs, ensuring repair requests are carried out efficiently and cost-effectively whilst delivering a first-class service to our customer. The role will focus on the provision of Response Repair Services, Void Works, including surveying, fault finding, roofing repairs and general joinery works.

Responsibilities
  • 1st and 2nd fix duties including all ironmongery repairs, kitchen install, all types of door installation and glazing
  • Working on void and tenanted properties
  • Collaborating with other team members to provide a courteous and considerate service to clients and tenants
  • Working under the instruction of the site supervisor to meet the needs of clients and tenants
  • Observing the highest levels of health and safety, and using appropriate safety equipment
  • Ensuring areas of work are left clean and tidy at the end of the day
  • Ensuring accurate completion and timely submission of relevant site-based or company documentation
  • Performing duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Carrying out any other duties as may be reasonably required
Essential qualifications
  • Be time served or appropriately qualified with relevant experience
  • 1st & 2nd fix joinery
  • High level of experience and knowledge in delivery of minor building and maintenance joinery services
  • Valid CSR Card
  • Available for Out of Hours callouts on a rotational basis
  • Full driving licence
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in social housing sector
  • Working at Heights Harness training
  • Good communication skills to meet and deal with customers
  • PVC floor and ceramic wall tiling
  • Ability to use a PDA/smartphone/mobile working device
