Overview

IT Project Manager Entertainment & Hospitality Giant - Shepherd's Bush (4 Days Onsite) - £60,000pa - £70,000pa

An global entertainment giant (media & hospitality) is hiring an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and deliver business-critical, cross-functional technology projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of key, cross-functional business transformation projects, whilst maintaining a focus on the IT deliverables
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to align project goals and expectations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful delivery
  • Lead the project teams, including internal resources and third-party vendors, ensuring high performance and accountability
  • Support the IT programme manager to oversee project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with financial and operational goals and provide regular updates to the group head of IT delivery and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and adherence to governance frameworks
  • Work with the delivery team to build a community of learning and promoting emergent delivery practices to improve delivery of value to the organisation (e.g., agile & lean)
  • Ensure projects deliver measurable improvements to customer experience, operational efficiency and value of business
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Support the IT delivery team in implementing good business analysis practice across the group
  • Help establish and refine delivery frameworks, incorporating emergent processes, tools and techniques
  • Work to build a high level of collaboration across the IT delivery capability working with the business analyst to foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Stay connected and informed with industry trends to ensure tools and methodologies remain cutting-edge
  • Look for continuous improvement in the methods of working and best practice
Technical Knowledge & Experience
  • Experience in delivering complex technology-enabled change projects and programmes preferably within a group matrix and retail, leisure or hospitality industry
  • Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2), certifications are desirable
  • Strong proficiency in project management tools and modern delivery methodologies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams, including third-party vendors
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and forecasts
  • Experience with customer-facing systems (e.g., self service POS) and internal business systems (e.g., ERP)
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies and a desire to learn more
  • Experience of working independently and handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to facilitate and control workshops and requirement gathering workshops
  • A second language (German or Italian) is highly desirable

Location: Shepherds Bush, London (4 days per week on-site)

Salary: Up to £70,000, depending on experience + exceptional package and bonus
