A leading food manufacturing company based in Biggleswade is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR across multiple sites. The role focuses on shaping company culture and driving performance through effective people strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment law and change management along with a CIPD qualification. This is a critical role within the leadership team, offering a competitive salary of £50k to £55k.

Based in Biggleswade (Multi-Site role)

This isn t that.

This role is about leading HR across multiple sites, shaping culture, and actually influencing how people and performance come together to drive a business forward. You ll be part of the leadership team, not just sat in the background writing policies no one reads.

What you ll be doing:
  • Leading HR across multiple sites, making sure the full employee lifecycle (from hiring to development to retention) actually works.
  • Working with leadership to build and execute people strategies that mean something succession planning, engagement, DE&I, wellbeing.
  • Using data, reporting and headcount planning to drive smarter people decisions.
  • Keeping the business compliant on employment law and ethical standards (including customer audits).
  • Building a culture people want to be part of not because you stuck a ping-pong table in the office, but because you ve created real engagement.
What you ll need:
  • Solid experience as a senior HR professional in a multi-site role in Manufacturing (bonus points for Food Manufacturing).
  • Strong employment law knowledge and experience with change management.
  • A background in driving culture and performance, not just running processes.
  • The ability to use data, budgets, and reporting to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Confidence, resilience, and the ability to push things through to completion.
  • A CIPD qualification (Chartered level preferred).
