As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with instructions, understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and materials, and ensuring that all areas are well-presented and maintained. You will also treat residents with dignity and respect, and protect their personal space and belongings. The role requires knowledge of health and safety, particularly moving and handling, fire safety, and COSHH assessments, as well as experience in cleaning and laundry in a public setting. The successful candidate will demonstrate compassion, commitment, and the ability to be adaptive and flexible.
