Job description

Optime Group in partnership with a well-known Logistics Company located at Stansted Airport are looking to add to its growing team of HGV Class 2 Drivers serving one of the UK's fastest growing airports.

What's on offer

• Location: Stansted Airport
• Rate of pay: £15.61 per hour
• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off
• Shift timings: 18:00PM to 06:00AM - Flexibility with timings is essential as these will be rotational

• ASAP

Responsibilities

• Consider domestic versus international driving regulation.
• Loading, unloading and delivery of goods, collection of returns and empty media delivered back to the consolidation centre.
• Follow customer specific procedures.
• Maintain regular contact with the warehouse management team.
• Count and check all products, compare to manifest and complete a visual check for damage.
• Report any excesses, shortages or damage to the warehouse manager or team leader in a timely manner.
• Secure loads effectively and ensure loads are within the weight limits.
• Complete routine vehicle checks and ops 13 paperwork.
• Comply with appropriate working time legislation.
• Any other reasonable duties and tasks as required.
• Compliance with Tachograph regulations inclusive of CPC training and tachograph operation.

The ideal candidate

• Class 2 Drivers who hold a Full UK Driving License.
• You must hold a valid CPC and Digi Card.
• Great understanding of the English language.
• Drivers who are passionate and take pride in their work.
• Must be able to provide 5-year checkable history, in order for us to obtain your blue airside pass.
• Drugs and alcohol testing will be required prior to employment.
