Position Details

We are recruiting for a full-time HGV Class 1 night driver. You'll work Monday to Friday, with consistent evening start times between 16:00 and 19:00, paying £18.50 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HGV Class 1 vehicle during night shifts
• Carry out pre-use vehicle checks and report any defects
• Trunking work, no handball
• Maintain accurate and timely delivery records
• Comply with all road safety and health & safety regulations
• Maintain professional communication with transport and site teams

Requirements

• Full, valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• A solid understanding of road safety and driver compliance
• Reliable, punctual, and a team player
• Previous experience preferred, especially with night driving
