A healthcare provider in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks a full-time Healthcare Assistant to join their busy practice. This position involves delivering high-quality patient care across two sites. Key responsibilities include performing ECGs, measuring height, weight, and blood pressure, and managing lab samples. Candidates must possess Level 2/3 Health and Social Care NVQ and strong interpersonal skills. This role offers a chance to work in a dynamic healthcare environment supporting a diverse patient population.
We are looking to recruit a full time Healthcare Assistant to work across both sites of our busy practice. The Healthcare Assistant is an important member of the Primary Care team, delivering high-quality, patient focused care within the surgery.
Please note - this role will be based across both of our sites, one in the City Centre of Newcastle and in Westerhope.

SAVILLE MEDICAL GROUP is a large and friendly Practice in the centre of Newcastle with a branch surgery at Newbiggin Hall.
We care for approximately 42,500 patients with a high proportion of students in the City Centre and a more typical population in the branch surgery. The workforce consists of 7 GP Partners, 25 Salaried GPs and an extensive Nursing team. In addition, we have a medicines management team including 3 Clinical Pharmacists and over 40 skilled staff members.
We also offer an expanding wellbeing team of 9 staff members with experience in mental health, dementia, children's charities, homelessness, substance misuse, domestic abuse and any patient who struggles to engage with services and needs more support than GPs alone can provide.
Our Primary Care Network is led by one of our GP Partners and Practice Manager enabling us to collaborate with numerous key partners including the CCG, Newcastle Hospital Trust, LMC and our Federation. This helps the practice to remain highly proactive in integrating the latest healthcare policy and digital systems, which makes every day challenging and rewarding.
