Overview

Health and Social Care Lecturer with Health Specialism – Harrow Weald, Northwest London

Salary: £32,455 – £45,260 per annum (including London Weighting). Permanent, Full-time. Closing date: Wednesday 17th September 2025. This role is with Clarus Education supporting a leading Further Education College in Northwest London. This is an opportunity for a qualified Nurse seeking to transition into a rewarding teaching role, shaping future professionals in the health and social care sector.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching across Health and Social Care qualifications including:
• Level 3 T Level Technical Qualification in Health
• BTEC Health and Social Care Levels 1, 2 and 3
• Utilise clinical knowledge and experience to inspire and prepare learners (mainly aged 16–19) for further education and careers within health and social care
• Provide full support for those without a Level 5 FE teaching qualification to achieve this

Person Specification / Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (essential)
• Current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration
• Recent or current clinical experience in health and/or social care
• Some teaching, training, or mentoring experience preferred
• Level 5 teaching qualification (DET, PGCE or equivalent) desirable or willingness to work towards, supported by the college
• Sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates
