Overview

Sancta Familia Catholic Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a dynamic and forward-thinking professional to lead on both Governance and Growth. This is a dual role offering the opportunity to influence not just compliance and governance, but also the strategic expansion of a newly established Catholic multi-academy trust.

About the Trust

We are a new cross-phase family of Catholic schools, launched in February 2025 with five founding schools. By the end of this year, we expect to grow to at least 10 schools, with an ambitious vision to expand to 20+ schools and over 1,000 employees within three years.

The Role

This is a rare opportunity to combine governance leadership with growth strategy.

Note: The successful candidate will:

  • Governance & Compliance
  • Embed a sector-leading governance framework across the Trust
  • Support and develop the Trust Board and Local Governance Bodies
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory, legal, and regulatory requirements
  • Support with growth & Strategy development
  • Work with the CEO, Executive Team, and Diocese to deliver the Trust’s growth plan
  • Lead due diligence and governance arrangements for onboarding new schools
  • Build future governance capacity to ensure sustainable expansion
