Job description

A growing Insurtech is recruiting a Head of Finance to strengthen its UK finance function.

In this role you will work closely with the senior leadership team and take the lead on business as usual (financial accounting, reporting and control) and project work.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end finance for the company
• Managing the finance team
• Preparation of the financial business plan and ORSA plan
• Providing all required regulatory and statutory reporting
• Overseeing the Solvency II processes
• Liaising with Auditors, advisors, HMRC, etc.
• Preparation of board and committee papers
• Supporting with ad‑hoc projects

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant
• Relevant experience gained within a (Re)insurance environment
• Strong understanding of finance function including financial accounting and reporting, planning and forecasting, and finance operations processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience in projects
