The company are an established and successful precision engineering and manufacturing company.Pertemps are recruiting on their behalf for a Graduate Process Engineer for their operations in Redditch.Salary - £28,000 to £32,000 per annum.The role is a Day shift from Monday to Friday.Job SummaryThe client are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Process Engineer to join their engineering team. In this role, you will support process design, optimisation, and troubleshooting efforts within our production environment. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to analyse processes, identify inefficiencies, and assist in implementing improvements to enhance productivity, safety, and product quality.Responsibilities and dutiesAssist in the design, development, and optimization of production processes and systems.Collect and analyse process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of production or process issues.Support continuous improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.Assist in creating and updating process documentation such as process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, maintenance, and safety.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.Qualifications:Degree in an engineering qualification, or an NVQ/HNC in engineering or similar.1-2 years of relevant industrial experience would be advantageous but not essential.Basic understanding of process engineering principles and manufacturing systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Basic knowledge of CAD software.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to learn and take initiative.The company are based Redditch so is commutable from Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Droitwich, Solihull, Worcester, Dudley, Alcester.Please apply now to be considered for the vacancy!TPBN1_UKTJ
