Overview

GENERAL LABOURER / FLT COUNTERBALANCE

Due to continued expansion we currently looking for hands on grafters to work within the Deepcar area. This would be working within a busy environment and previous labouring / on-site experience would be preferred.

• Monday to Friday - 9 - 5.30pm (opportunity to start from 8am)

Responsibilities

• Programming relevant machinery
• Operating machinery to fill cement bags of up to 25kg
• Ensuring bags are stitched to keep secure
• Preparing goods for despatch - shrink wrapping, stacking and ink stamping batch numbers onto items
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the yard
• Re-organisation of the stock as instructed
• Sorting and repairing of pallets
• Packing and stacking bagged goods off weighing machine onto pallets
• Operating FLT (counterbalance) to move stock around the warehouse
• Other general warehouse duties as and when required

Requirements

• Must be physically fit due to physical demands of the role
• In-house FLT counterbalance license would be essential
• Must travel using own transport due to location
• Experience within a similar environment would be beneficial
