A regional recruitment agency is seeking an Interim Financial Controller for a local government LATco. The role involves creating accounts for the new company and running the service. Candidates should be fully qualified accountants with experience in LATcos or local government and financial control processes. The position starts mid to late January, with potential for permanency and hybrid work options.
A local government client of mine are currently in the process of creating a new LATco (Local Authority Trading Company) to deliver waste and recycling services and are needing to bring in an Interim Finance Business Partner/Financial Controller to create the accounts for the LATco.
You will be expected to run the service, set up the schedule of accounts, financial control process, procurement structure etc.
