The Role

We are looking for an insightful, proactive Finance Analytics Manager to help us in our next phase of growth. If you’re excited about building SQL models, uncovering business-critical insights, tackling complex problems, and shaping our financial strategy as we grow, this role is for you.

No challenge is too small — or too large! You’ll work in our Finance team, reporting to our Analytics Lead, and with significant exposure to our CFO, CPO and teams across the company, including Treasury, Engineering and Markets.

The role is full-time, with the team working out of our offices in Borough Market, London

Key responsibilities

• Improve and extend our mission critical financial models in dbt
• Become a Financial Data SME – someone who understands the ins and outs of our monthly numbers, and takes the initiative to dig into and solve analytics issues
• Own BaU financial data processes, partnering with various internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely, accurate insights
• Redesigns our key financial dashboards as we scale our operations and add new products
• Contributes to our cross-functional analytics community – e.g. by peer reviewing code or sharing knowledge at our weekly meetups

Required

• 2–4 years in an analytical role (e.g. fintech, startup, or professional services)
• Strong SQL skills, and comfortable working with large, complex datasets
• Experience building dashboards in tools like Looker or Mode
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Combine an eye for detail, with a pragmatic attitude to getting things done, and a ‘no task too small’ mentality
• The ability to work independently and balance priorities
• The right to work in the UK

Nice to have

• An accounting or audit background is strongly preferred, given the role’s focus on financial analysis
• Some experience with dbt, Python and/or R is a bonus
• Previous exposure to treasury, product or financial systems
