Job summary

A multinational medical devices company in the UK is seeking a Finance & Business Analyst to support the Commercial Financial Controller. The role is a 6-month temporary position with potential for extension, offering a salary of up to £60,000 per year. The position requires 4+ years of experience in finance or sales forecasting, high proficiency in Excel and Power BI, along with strong analytical skills to drive business insights. Job description

We are partnering exclusively with a multinational medical devices company in their search for a Finance & Business Analyst to support the Commercial Financial Controller. This is a 6 month temporary role with scope for extension based in Maidenhead, and looking to pay up to 60,000 per year for the right candidate. This role will be onsite 5 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Analysis: Provide data–driven insights and build models to support business and financial processes.
• Financial Oversight: Support month–end activities, including expenditure monitoring and accrual reviews.
• Forecasting & Sales Support: Prepare weekly sales files, validate forecasts, and manage the analytical integrity of the Latest Best Estimate (LBE) process.
• Performance Tracking: Calculate and record incentive schemes for commercial teams.
• Strategic Collaboration: Interface with various management levels to coordinate activities across different organisational units.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive experience in finance or sales forecasting. Experience in commercial finance or the medical devices industry is a significant advantage.
• High–level proficiency in Excel (modelling) and Power BI is essential. Familiarity with SAP, PowerOn, or Power Planner is preferred.
• Proven ability to work with large, disparate data sets and transform them into business intelligence.
• Likely a part–qualified accountant (or similar) with a strong commercial bias.
