Qualifications

Overview

JOB – Field Service Engineer

LOCATION – London

TERM – Permanent

SALARY - £30,000 - £37,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a Manufacturer of a variety of products for the retail sector. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team based in the London area on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of mechanical/retail equipment
• General maintenance
• Electro-mechanical maintenance and repair
• Approximately 20% of work at the company base and 80% servicing on customer sites
• Develop strong relationships with customers

Qualifications / Attributes

• Roughly 5-10 years’ relevant experience in a servicing role
• Understanding of auto-electrics and some mechanical skills
• Experience servicing small vehicles such as dock levellers, forklifts, industrial compactors or similar would be beneficial
• Experience with hydraulics is needed for this role
• Great communication and customer service skills
• Flexible with working hours Monday-Friday
• Team player who is passionate about their work
• Happy to travel on a field basis approx. 80% of the time
• Holds a full UK driving licence
