BJ154 - Field Branch Support Manager

Location: South West
Salary: £29,096 with OTE £35k + Company Car
Working Hours: 39 hours per week, 5 days out of 7

First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Field Branch Support Manager on behalf of one of our amazing clients based across the South West. This is an excellent and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding retail business with an excellent opportunity of career advancement.

Responsibilities
  • To work within all branches & company departments to ensure an adequate level of staffing.
  • To oversee & challenge monthly Branch Checks and ensure checks are scored appropriately.
  • To oversee & challenge Balanced scorecard and ensure it is scored appropriately.
  • To oversee & challenge matter of Health & Safety, ensuring branches follow the company's Health & Safety manual.
  • To support Branch Managers with their Balanced Scorecard plans / focuses created and communication / delivery to all staff when working in branch.
  • To highlight areas for development required in stores visited through feedback to manager & support & challenge to deliver improvement.
  • To proactively spread best practice across the branch.
  • To support, check & deliver the training of all staff to perform their duties satisfactorily.
  • To lead new company initiatives & processes in stores by delivering training, providing support to managers and challenging when not integrated.
  • To report activities and progress to the Lead Support Manager on a monthly basis.
  • To input and report the PPI count company wide.
  • To help with the completion of stock takes throughout the company.
Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 1 year's retail or trade counter management experience (desirable).
  • Ability to maintain productive working relationships with colleagues, suppliers and customers.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused when under pressure.
  • Using your own initiative.
  • A friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Experience of dealing with both retail and trade customers advantageous but not necessarily required.
  • Experience of working in a team leading position desirable.
