Join Our Team as a Facilities and Workplace Experience Manager – Make an Impact Every Day

Location: University of Greenwich, Avery Hill Campus, SE9 2UG
Days/Shift Pattern: Working Hours: Monday to Friday
Total Hours Per Week: 40
Salary: £49,500pa - £51,000pa + excellent bonus and benefits package

Responsibilities
  • Drive Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) operational excellence across a complex university estate.
  • Lead delivery of hard and soft FM services, ensuring contractual, statutory and customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Collaborate with Sodexo leadership, client and key stakeholders to deliver robust governance, high‑quality reporting and continuous improvement.
  • Manage KPIs, SLAs, PPMs and reactive works to minimise failures and financial risk.
  • Oversee campus budgets, financial processes including POs, task orders and receipting.
  • Direct grounds maintenance services and fleet compliance.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement and smarter ways of working.
  • Support out‑of‑hours and emergency response when required.
  • Champion Sodexo’s people‑first culture, CSR commitments and safety‑first mindset.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a senior Facilities or IFM management role.
  • Extensive experience leading both hard and soft FM services within a large, complex contract.
  • Strong leadership capability with the ability to drive performance across multiple workstreams.
  • Demonstrable success delivering exceptional workplace experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting account growth and value creation.
  • Confident stakeholder management, with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical, data‑led approach with experience using CMMS and performance reporting tools.
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Office suite.
