A well-established engineering manufacturer is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder/Fitter in the United Kingdom. In this varied role, you will work on projects from start to finish, with a focus on MIG welding and mechanical fitting. Candidates should be experienced, able to read engineering drawings, and work independently. Friday | Days | Overtime Available Workforce are currently working with a well-established and growing engineering manufacturer operating within a project-based fabrication and assembly environment. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to recruit a skilled Fabricator / Welder / Fitter to join their experienced team on a permanent basis. This is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same.
You will work on projects from start to finish, rather than repetitive bench or jig work.
The Role Approx. 30% welding & fabrication / 70% fitting & assembly. MIG welding (TIG experience highly desirable). Fabrication and fitting of engineered structures and assemblies. Working from fully detailed engineering drawings. General mechanical fitting and hands‑on assembly work. Working in a covered outdoor workshop environment. Close collaboration with a skilled and supportive engineering team. The Ideal Candidate: Experienced Fabricator / Welder / Fitter. Able to read and work confidently from engineering drawings. Strong practical and mechanical fitting skills. Comfortable working independently once trained. Team player with a positive, reliable attitude. Experience in project-based or bespoke fabrication advantageous. What’s On Offer: £17.00-£19.00 per hour, depending on experience. Permanent, full‑time position. Day shift: Monday to Friday, typically 08:00 - 16:30. Overtime available. Pension scheme and company benefits. On-site parking. Training, development, and long-term stability.
