Job description

Overview

We are currently looking for experienced Fabricator/Welders to work for one of our clients in the Burton on Trent area. The client is a manufacturer of specialist equipment to a range of industry sectors including oil and gas, food and process. Due to the specialist nature of the products the work is both interesting and varied and will involve the fabrication of metal structures, working from engineering drawings, from base materials through to finished product.

The work will mostly involve the fabrication of carbon steel and possibly some stainless steel.

Qualifications

The ideal candidates must be experienced Fabricators. The ability to carry out MIG welding to a reasonable standard would also be useful. Previous experience of working on the fabrication of a wide range of material thicknesses is also required. In addition, the ability to carry out plating/fabrication activities such as cutting, rolling, bending, etc., and the ability to work from drawings will also be essential.
