Experienced Pool Construction Laborer Needed

The role involves performing general labor on job sites to support timely project completion, communicating with leadership about daily progress and material needs for the next day’s tasks, actively engaging in continuing education to enhance expertise in your area of work, and ensuring quality control in all aspects of your responsibilities.

What you’ll do in your role:
  • Assist in all phases of pool construction, including excavation, plumbing, steelwork, concrete, tiling, decking, and equipment installation.
  • Perform hands-on labor tasks, including digging, leveling, and material handling, etc.
  • Confirm that any aspect of the project installation complies with the project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company safety guidelines on job sites.
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor construction challenges in real time.
  • Transport materials, tools, and other supplies to job sites.
  • Complete work orders and record all activities, including services done, before/after pictures, and chemical readings and dosages.
  • Ensure job sites are kept clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Keep the truck organized and stocked
  • Follow and Promote safety procedures
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Prior experience in construction, plumbing, or pool installation is required.
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, concrete work, and general construction practices is a plus.
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift moderate to heavy objects, typically around 50 lbs., with occasional requirements to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate with others and to follow instructions and safety rules.
  • You must be able to work independently on assigned tasks and have the ability and confidence to ask for help and guidance when needed.
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and strong teamwork ability.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
