Evening Mechanical Engineer – Central London

We’re seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a dedicated evening team in a landmark Central London building. This role is ideal for someone who’s hands-on, proactive, and thrives on solving problems independently.

Location: Central London

Salary: £47,000 – £50,000 + company car

Hours
  • Mon–Wed (16:30 – 02:30)
  • Thu (14:30 – 00:00)
  • 1 in 4 callouts
  • Fridays off
Responsibilities
  • Fault-finding and problem-solving (primarily during evening hours)
  • Servicing and replacing FCU parts (valves, actuators, motors, etc.)
  • Supporting building systems and ensuring smooth operations
  • Working closely within a 2-person team
Qualifications
  • Fully qualified Mechanical Engineer
  • 5+ years’ experience in office/commercial environments
  • Strong technical and fault-finding skills
  • A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Full UK driving licence
