Environmental Manager HSQE Up to £70,000 Bridgend/Swindon

We're looking for an Environmental Manager, HSQE to lead on compliance and sustainability across major civil engineering and construction projects between Bridgend and Swindon. This role is ideal for an Environmental Manager, HSQE who wants to combine technical expertise with career progression in a supportive, ambitious business.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage Environmental Management Plans.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, permits, and planning conditions.
  • Carry out audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
  • Liaise with regulators and local authorities.
  • Drive sustainability - waste reduction, carbon management, biodiversity.
  • Support BREEAM/CEEQUAL certifications.
  • Provide training and toolbox talks.
  • Lead investigations into incidents and non-conformances.
Qualifications
  • A degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or similar.
  • Experience in construction/civil engineering environmental management.
  • Strong knowledge of UK legislation and ISO 14001 systems.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (or equivalent).
