Job description

A council based in Kent is currently looking for an Environmental Health Officer specialising in Private Sector Housing to join their team and help with their workload.

The Role
  • Kent based
  • £40-45 per hour - Umbrella
  • 37-hour per week
  • Will consider part time minimum 24 hours
  • February start date
  • 3 months initially with potential to extend
  • Hybrid – 2/3 days on site

  • HHSRS inspections
  • Serving notices.
Requirements
  • Degree in Environmental Health or equivalent (i.e. Diploma in Environmental Health)
  • Registered with Environmental Health Registration Board
  • Experience of securing regulatory compliance though various means
  • HMO licensing and HHSRS enforcement experience
  • Statutory nuisance investigation experience
