University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust provide emergency services at our purpose built Minor Injuries Unit based at UHCW and also at our Urgent Treatment Centre based at St Cross Hospital in Rugby and City of Coventry Health Centre. All sites have dedicated facilities and allocated staff to provide care 7 days a week 24 hours a day. We are seeking Emergency Care Practitioners (Adult only) to join our dynamic team within the Minor Injuries Unit/Urgent Treatment Centre. The practitioner will play a key role in delivering high quality, timely care to patients presenting with minor injury and illness. This is a fast paced, independent role requiring excellent clinical reasoning and descision making skills.
Applicants must hold either Level 6/7 PGCert/PGDip in minor illness/illness, and looking to consolidate your experience. You will be supported to develop in line with NHS England UEC Practitioner framework.
Successful applicants will be required to provide an immunisation and vaccination report, from either their current UK occupational health provider or their UK GP.
