Working days with an early finish on Fridays, this role is ideal for an experienced Electro Plater. Nitriding experience will also be considered.

You will report to the Production Manager and be responsible for operating the Tin Plating Line process, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety standards. Attention to detail is crucial in this role.

Our location is easily accessible from Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, Oldbury, Walsall, Solihull, Aston, Chelmsley Woods, Coventry, Atherstone, Lichfield, Minworth, Castle Vale, and Yardley.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Tin Plating Line process
• Ensure high-quality production
• Troubleshoot new plating techniques and improve processes
• Analyze production data and engineering runs
• Optimize plating processes
• Perform quality checks using X-ray machines and Pero washing
• Operate and program furnaces
• Maintain 5S standards
• Load and unload furnaces
• Reduce costs and scrap
• Experience in electroplating in a production environment
• Nitriding experience is a plus
• Set up and maintain electrochemistry equipment
• Hands-on knowledge of chemical development and electrochemical processes
• FLT license (Counter Balance) is beneficial
• Experience with measuring equipment and chemicals
• IT literacy
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
